Join us September 19th, 2021, to walk for our dad, husband, brother, grandpa and dear friend, Steve Day, who has been bravely battling his ALS diagnosis since APRIL 2021.

When we told Dad about this walk, his first thought was that nobody would show up.

His next question? He asked if he could have a head start.

We are looking forward to celebrating Dad and showing him how much we care. But we also hope to raise awareness for a terrible disease and support a great cause. Because, let's face it, ALS is no fun. The Evergreen Chapter of ALS does everything they can to make it a little less awful, a little less scary and a little less lonely.

We have often thought how lucky Dad is to be blessed with the most amazing family and friends. Many of you have reached out to share your own experiences with ALS. Hearing first-hand accounts about how to deal with various aspects of this disease has helped Dad more than we can express. 

Unfortunately, not everyone has this level of love and support. And that's where the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter comes in. The Evergreen Chapter covers five states and does so much to help people through this journey - everything from monthly support meetings, patient education, a free equipment loan program, local advocacy and so much more. They are an invaluable resource.
